Tips and Suggestions : 

  • Old Freezers - Use old freezers as storing vegetables, the insulation will stop the stored contents from freezing, but do remember to remove the door seals as this will allow some air flow. 

  • Planting Peas - Peas are normally planted in groups in a diagonal line so save time by planting saved peas in their pods.

  • Seed Packets - Laminate seed packets and use as markers in the flower beds or vegetable plots.

  • Cane Tops – Empty snail shells make very good and decorative tops to canes used either in the garden or to support your potted plants.

  • Hoes - Don’t forget to sharpen your hoes for that very effective weed control!

  • Rotary Mowers - A rotary mower can be very effective in chopping up small quantities of hedge trimmings whilst mowing alongside the freshly trimmed hedge.
